Meet The Team

Rob Crolla

Rob is Director of CODA Planning. He has a wealth of experience across a wide variety of land use sectors, and has worked in private and public sector roles, and on client-side and in consultancy roles over a 25 year planning career. Rob is dedicated to ensuring the whole CODA Planning team is tuned in to client requirements from day one and in the provision of high-quality, insightful planning advice across the whole life property cycle - from site appraisals and due diligence; to applications and site promotion; to on-site delivery. When not grappling with the technicalities of the planning system Rob enjoys most sport, including golf and cycling and follows Grimsby Town FC (one of the few).

Tom Smart

Graduate Planner
Tom achieved a Masters in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of Sheffield in 2019, with practical experience in public and private planning across the North of England. Tom joined CODA Planning in September 2019 and is assisting clients achieve planning permission for a variety of schemes. Being part of the planning team at CODA has hugely developed Tom's planning knowledge, and interest in the future of Sheffield. His next goal is to become a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
